Hello there, everyone! We'd like to thank everyone for participating in Magical Girl Raising Project! for these last seven months. This is our final feedback post in closing, since there's a lot that we'd like to go over, and we'd like to hear your thoughts on how to improve for the next murdergame.

Here are our personal comments from us, as moderators:

Len (Head Mod):

Len here, as you guys can probably tell. I would like to thank everyone - again - for participating in this game, even with the rockiness the moderator team had at the start. We're all new to modding a murdergame, and even to me, as a murdergame veteran, this was a completely different and difficult experience for me, but it is one that I will honestly say that I would do again. While I say that I would definitely run a murdergame again - and there are plans for one in the future that is not MGRP related - it won't be happening in the near future, due to real life constrictions. But I digress.

Magical Girl Raising Project's conception was in late November 2016. There were several behind the scenes trouble that could have caused the game's early closure, but two of my good, trustworthy friends stepped up to the plate and assisted me in moderating the game. I honestly could not have done it without them.

I would also like to apologize in advance for my behavior at times on the Discord server as well that cropped up on occasion. It was not my intention to wall anybody from doing things from an IC standpoint or an OOC one in the slightest bit, and I heavily encourage characters to push past the decisions of the NPCs or the moderator played characters.

Anyway, there were several kinks that I was working with when I was moderating this game, and many of them were based on the original systems that were being tested out, but I'll speak on that in depth below.

    Cases, Investigations and Trials:

As the head mod, I was primarily in charge of sending out the PMs for the cases and creating the Google Documents that would encase the clues. The first case was a bit rocky because we decided to give freedom to the players and give input depending on what they gave us, and that lead to a bit of a mess. Thanks to some feedback, in future cases, we opted to use a template, which helped smooth things out in the latter cases.

One of the biggest issues I realized was we never got scheduling down completely perfectly. The reason for this was due to timezone differences and a good portion of the players were also new to this format, which meant a lot of conflict in choosing players who were both available and also fitting for who did the crime.

Because of this, in future games that we plan on running, we plan on giving the times ahead of schedule and polling ahead of schedule.

    The Plot, Secret Roles:

First of all, I'd like to apologize severely to Zero, our Joshua player, for not utilizing the role as the traitor as efficiently as I should have. The reason for this was because while we had most of the plot fleshed out, we... actually didn't come up with the ritual until a few weeks into the game.

The original plan was to have him investigate the others and potentially do something - which he did, due to a death roll - and also deal with the impurity and key gathering.

We also had a second secret role, and that was actually the medium, whose role was to speak with the dead and pass on the message to the living without seeming suspicious. That role was played by our Renji player who had to drop, so that was definitely rather unfortunate.

I'd like to say that a lot of the plot shifted out of circumstance -- there was a lot of things that I had to change from the original plans due to the tasks not working out like I wanted to and a lot of things behind the scenes work that I'm not going to go over here. But overall, I would like to hope that everyone enjoyed their time trying to figure out what's going on in the town and investigating.

Also, here is where I'd like to bring up Zange, and her role as the mastermind. As the mastermind, Zange had all access to her abilities, which means that she was able to swap with Hakua at will. I tried to show Hakua at certain moments -- one example being during the Dia's meeting when M appeared, the other example being during one of her talks with Taiki at the end of the second trial. Zange and Hakua are complete opposites; Hakua acts timid, awkward, shy. Zange is active, bold, and willing to do whatever she wants to get what she wants. Zange's role as the mastermind was not supposed to be the big plot twist. The circumstances behind it were.

I'm not going to lie that the plot was not perfect and this is something that I need to work on for the next game, hence why the next game will not be happening for a while, so that more of the preparation work will be done in advance.

    NPCs:

I'm not going to lie that I kind of overwhelmed myself by adding in too many functional, working NPCs in the building of this game. Before the opening of the game, the NPC count was going to be as such:

  • The Mastermind, who wouldn't show up much, who was Zange
  • The Task NPCs -- which we cut, as spoken about a few weeks ago on how the system just didn't outright work for a short time.
  • Snow White, who was going to be a "helper" NPC until she murdered near the end of the game.
  • Ozuma, who was the "impurity".
  • The ten ghost NPCs, which were split amongst the mods evenly.

Personally, Ozuma and the Mastermind were not going to show up much. The Mastermind being for the sole reason that she was Zange and had to do her posts while nobody was watching, and Ozuma was always planned to not show up until the end. In any case, I sincerely apologize to those who didn't get their tags in ample time, especially in deadland. All the notifications for the moderator account go directly to my e-mail, but I tend to clean out my e-mail of mod replies because I'm trying to get to them by directly checking. I tried my best to respond in as timely of a fashion that I possibly could, especially when it came to not only the NPC responses, but the mod investigation replies as well.

Now, I'm going to talk a little bit here on the Snow White murder plot because it was actually switched from my original plans due to the scheduling. First of all: murderweek was not a part of the original plan. The original plan was to have an "unsolvable murder" and scapegoat someone and then have a retrial for it as the final trial. And I say 'unsolvable' in the way that the case itself could be solved, but the murderer would not have gotten caught.

    The Final Trial (Endgame):

To be honest, the final trial did feel a bit... easy, but everyone put in a lot of hard work during the final investigation which made the trial run smoothly (although there were some Dreamwidth errors, I admit) but if there was anything that was confusing or felt missing, that's all on me, and I am honestly deeply sorry for that.

    Other:

Other than what I've said above, overall, this was a huge learning experience for me. There are a lot of things that I figured out worked or didn't work and I had to adjust accordingly or come up with things on the spot when necessary. I will admit here - as I've admitted on Discord as well - that we will not have a round two for Magical Girl Raising Project. The reasoning for this is due to parts of the game structure just not working and the overall storyline being closed. The arc for this murdergame is done.

However, this does not mean that I will not be moderating a short term murdergame in the future! I just need some time to reflect and figure out what things we could improve on and tighten up to make everyone's experience of the game better overall.

I can't help but thank everyone enough for your participation and that doubly goes for Sam and Steve, my fellow mods. You guys did wonderful work, both during game play and behind the scenes, and I cannot express how much I appreciate all of it. And again, I'd like to thank for those who submitted their feedback in the last few posts and through our private contact. It helped us a lot in growing and finalizing a lot of things and how we can deal with things next time!

Steve (Tasks NPC Mod, Item Shop Mod):

All right, so like I think I told everyone way back when, this was actually my first murdergame, both as a mod and a player. And it's definitely been...interesting. In a good way though! Before we started, and definitely when I was only planning on playing, not modding, I was under the impression that murder games were like regular games just....fast.

This is the part where everyone laughs. Go ahead.

Okay, so now getting to feedback, the first thing I'd like to do is apologize for leaving people hanging with NPCs back during the tasks. I was in the middle of switching jobs when we started, and honestly didn't think it would be as intensive as it was. So I apologize for that, and thanks a ton fellow for picking things up when I couldn't.

I definitely think though, it was kind of a mistake. It was a good idea and did a lot to try and give you guys stuff to do when there wasn't murder, but I think an approach like that, in hindsight, is way better suited to a regular game or a different kind of game. With some retooling, it could probably work.

As far as the item shop goes, that was pretty much the RNG's fault. I take no responsibility for anything other than the joke items and terrible descriptions. I'm sorry, my sense of humor leaves a lot to be desired. In all seriousness, I hope you guys had fun with it, and I was actually pretty surprised there wasn't more item sniping. Okay, there was a little, but you guys all played such nice characters, it was kind of amazing.

Being at work for investigations, I can't really talk there. It looked like a ton of fun though, and I'm sad I couldn't participate!

Trials were definitely the bulk of the learning experience...I think. We never really got room search timing down, then when things worked out we didn't need it, it just turned out to be kind of a mess, in my opinion. Which isn't really anyone's fault, things just kind of never lined up, and that's okay. It's a learning experience for next time.

I can't really comment too much on the deadland stuff, I had fun trying out some new characters, and I hope you guys had fun interacting with them.

So now let's get to the thing I've been wanting to give feedback on forever now. Let's talk about trial 2! So when Kaine got rolled, I wanted to go for a simple case because he's not going to go for the most creative murder ever, that's just not...him. But that was also my first time crafting one of these things, so I can definitely say that in hindsight I should've thrown more evidence at you guys. Still, it wasn't meant to turn into a giant clusterfuck, that was all you guys, and I love all of you for that.

With that being said, we know we had a bit of a rocky start, and sometimes things didn't quite work out the way we intended, I still think, or hope, everyone had fun, even with us learning how to do this as we went along. And I can definitely say I'd be willing to play in one of these or help out again. But maybe with somebody more social next time!

Sam (Deadland Mod + Helper Mod)

Hello, I'd like to again thank everyone for their time and patience with us getting ourselves sorted out. This was my return to modding games, but my first time modding a murder game. This has been a new and interesting experience. I barely knew anything about murder games before I stepped in to assist.

As all of you know, I'm the one that handled dead land business. I tried to give all of you something to do there and later learned dead lands in murder games are supposed to be chill places. I will say next time I rule the land of the dead, I'll have like one poor sod be there.

I was mostly using Hinata anyway and sorry for all his dumb drama. Next time I want to set up some kind of guidelines and structure but something really loose so there's still stuff to do. I want it to be fun there without any kind of major pressure. Whatever I will do I promise I'll have a much easier time keeping track of things. I'll make sure nothing gets in the way like some things in my real life unfortunately did.

I apologize for any confusion I myself caused. Me being mobile a lot meant I missed things. That aside, I'll take that extra second from now on to be sure I don't. Once again, thank you for participating and hopefully having a good time.

Overall, we'd like to give yet again, a final thanks to everyone in game for everything and open up the floor to any last thoughts and feedback that you would like to give to us as a game or to us as moderators. You are also free to leave us a comment privately on our contact post. Thank you so much for playing in Magical Girl Raising Project!

Hi there, everyone! Len here with a few things before we talk about feedback: I'd like to thank all the players so far who have participated actively in this game, especially the trials. This week's trial and investigation actually went rather smoothly, and the case was solved a lot more quickly than we had expected. Since it was unprecedented, we are proud of everyone's participation and I'd like to give a huge thanks to Taku and Zero for making this week's case a huge success.

Anyway, as spoken in our earlier announcement, we're pushing forward with the two week endgame schedule, also known as Schedule #1 that was presented in the polls.

On Sunday, the 30th, we will be making an announcement to our final four in regards to the final investigation week and trial. This will be very important for those who survived to read, since it regards getting the Golden Ending - we won't be giving explicit details on how to obtain that, though, as it is a secret! We will make sure, however, that everyone is available and can give participation to get the ending that the characters deserve, over a deus ex machina ending that they didn't earn. For the final trial, we will be asking the final four if they have a preference in the starting time of the trial and adjust accordingly

As a reminder: activity check is still open for the next few hours and closes at 9 PM PST/11 PM EST, so make sure you do that! Not doing activity check will make you more likely to get rolled for murderweek, so please keep that in mind.

In regards to the rolls, all the rolls will be randomized, with the exception of volunteers and people who fail activity, which means that it is 100% possible for a mod character to make endgame, so we'll see where the die lies. We will be sending out PMs in regards to that. And because of how murderweek works, there will be day to day toplevels for the upcoming week as well.

Anyway, that's it from me as of right now. We've been keeping a lot of your suggestions and feedback in mind for the future - especially since this is our first time running a murdergame - so that we can improve for you all. We're definitely utilizing this as a good learning experience to better ourselves for any future murdergames that we plan on running, so again: I'd like to express genuine gratitude and thanks to everyone for everything and let's cheer for a good last two weeks of the game!

There will definitely be another feedback post on Saturday, and as always, this post is meant to generate discussion within our playerbase and the mods to help us improve. Any and all feedback is very much appreciated, so feel free to leave a comment! And if there's any personal feedback or issues you'd like to give to us, feel free to leave a comment on our contact post as well. Thank you guys so much for reading.

Hi there, everyone! I just have a few reminders for you all today: first of all, week four's activity check is up for everyone; even if it is just a check-in, not checking in will count as a strike, and will definitely impact rolls for the upcoming weeks.

Also, for those who are still alive: it is very important that you vote on the feedback post, that way we know which route to take. Dead players do not have to vote - mostly because these votes do not impact their play, as they are not involved in the trials and investigations.

In regards to announcements for the week: I'll be throwing a top level for the letters today and there will also be a top level for the ball that happens tomorrow. Tomorrow will also be the reveal of the new locations for the upcoming week, and I will also start to PM our potential suspects.

As a reminder: we are keeping everything you tell us in consideration. The larger issues are things that we'll be discussing as a moderator team, so I sincerely apologize in the delay of any responses here, as we wish to keep things as clear and as concise as possible. Also, in regards to mod replies in the IC comms - if any of us miss a reply, please do not hesitate to ping me on Discord or plurk with the thread and I'll get to it ASAP.

Anyway, as always, this post is meant to be utilized as an open forum discussion between the mods and players, so feel free to leave a comment. Any and all input is very much appreciated. If there's any personal feedback you'd like to give us, feel free to also leave a comment on our contact post!

Hello there, everyone! Once again, Len here with several announcements. First of all, activity check is closed. There will be no item priorities for the upcoming week, because of reasons that will be explained in the rest of this post.

Week 4

I'm going to start off with the shortest, but big announcement: due to Easter Sunday happening next week, the upcoming week will be a no murder week! What does this mean for you guys? We will be having a plot related week where characters get to do things.

What are those things?

It is a mystery until tomorrow. And because of that, there will be no new locations until next week. We hope you guys all understand and continue to enjoy yourselves regardless!

Week 3 Case

First and foremost, I would like to sincerely apologize personally for the mishap in regards to the rope. It was brought up in the last post out of nowhere and I wished to shoot it down in today's trial, as it was something that was not brought up to us personally in the murder PMs, murderdoc, or anywhere else. This was a problem of a huge miscommunication, and I would like to inform everyone to please make sure to check in with the evidence top level before making any wild statements or accusations that may throw the trial into disarray and even cause the trial to ultimately fail.

We, as mods, want a fair trial, and tossing in non-existent evidence is not fair to the culprit or your fellow suspects.

If you're confused on any of the evidence that is provided, please feel free to contact me personally, as I am willing to potentially clarify on most things, given that my answer will not spoil the case.

Also in regards to Zange's involvement - I would like to state outright here to please take her hints with a grain of salt! To be more specific: all of her important clues will be bolded; anything that isn't bolded, please keep in mind that those clues may or may not be fact. This is how I will be handling future cases from now on in regards to that. If anybody has any sort of complaints or comments about that, feel free to give me or any of the other mods a heads up.

Anyway, as a reminder to please use the evidence top level for any and all evidence! This will also include room search write ups. We have it there for a reason, and we would not like for it to be left unused, especially since it's there for the sake of organization.

In other news: we have realized that there has been a big issue in regards to room searches. We've had the problem with inconsistency and people being unavailable to search in rooms due to work, timezones, or something else coming up. As a reminder for everyone: if you're not going to be available at a certain time or day to please let us know beforehand. Same goes for any future dates - since endgame should be happening in about a month, since full, 100% activity is required for that.

Which we're leading for two polls. The first one will deal with room search timing again, and we would really, heavily appreciate that everyone who is playing a living character answer both of these:

Activity Check

This is something that I have to bring up to clarify with everyone, just in case it does come up again in the future: since AC ends when execution goes up, threads that deal with the execution and afterparty count for the following week's activity check. So basically, Week 2's execution and afterparty threads will work for Week 3; so on and so forth.

Also, as a note: not voting will now be counting as a strike!

Anyway, with that being said: if there's anything you would like to discuss, please feel free to leave a comment; this is essentially an open forum post for any input everyone might have. And if there's any personal feedback that you would like to give to us in private, feel free to hit up our contact post! The poll will conclude on Friday, April 21st, and we will be having our next feedback post on Saturday, April 15th.

We would to thank everyone in advance for all of the feedback that you give us in this post and bring up on the Discord chat; it really helps us moving forward and keeping this game running well for you guys!

Hey there, everyone! It's Len here with a few announcements. Activity check is now officially closed, and we have rolled our dice for death and item priorities for the week. If you haven't gotten a message from us via Plurk or Discord PM, please wait until Tuesday to buy items. Thank you!

Anyway, a few announcements:

Case 2

First and foremost: I would like to thank everyone who participated in this investigation/trial. While you guys ended up making it a tie, you guys did very well, considering. I'm not going to reveal who the culprit is unless they want to reveal it ICly at some point, but I will tell you guys that this case was not unsolvable.

While personally - and this is from my standpoint, so I'm not talking for the mod team as a whole - think that we should have added more clues that possibly hinted to the culprit after everyone started investigating, but we would like to reiterate that the clues were definitely there. We'll be revealing the truth of the case during post-game - or for those who are ghosts in the afterlife, so feel free to ask me on that front.

Other than that, things went rather smoothly for the investigation. The trial, however... was a bit of a mess in a particular area. That particular area being: the room searches. During the proposed room search time, nobody besides myself, Edna/Seraphina's player and the suspects' players were online at all. Which meant that room searches had to be pushed back and that honestly was not fair for the suspects involved with the case.

Hence why I am formally making the announcement to go forward with the Dahlia player's suggestion in the last feedback post: room searches will be conducted at the beginning of the trial. Since the trials start at 11 AM PST / 2 PM EST, I will be posting sign-ups on both Plurk and Discord at around 9 AM PST.

The last and minor note about trials: letters. I'm going to be fixing up the formatting for the letters for next week and there will be top levels for each character in next week's trial so the mishap from this week's doesn't happen again.

Activity Checks + Availability

Also in regards to activity: I am going to be putting my foot down here. While AC is the biggest factor in regards to how characters are offed with RNG, if characters do not participate in the trial portions, I will make their chances of being rolled higher. I haven't been doing this in the last few rolls out of fairness, but I will definitely be doing those now, as a heads up.

Another thing to note is that if you are going to unavailable for any reason to please, please give us a heads up personally. It does not matter if you say it on plurk. I can miss that. The other mods can miss that, and we might be giving you a strike that you don't deserve because of that. It's also not fair to be squatting on a character because of it, too. We will also be killing off characters who do not comment to the voting in time unless they tell us, so we would really appreciate it.

Discord

I've already said it in chat, but I'll repeat it here so everyone can see it, since some of you might have missed it: please try to be polite and not demean the intelligence of the other players on chat! I was privately messaged about this concern earlier - and I won't be naming names - and I want to reiterate the fact that the MGRP Discord chat is meant to be a place where all the players are comfortable. That is my number one priority as a mod, especially, and I would appreciate that people try not to be downers or push the idea of just simply solving the case.

There is more to a trial than just that, after all.

And that's pretty much it! If anybody else has anything they'd like to add, feel free to comment here. Again, this is an open forum discussion post for any input anyone might have had. And if there's anything personal you'd like to speak to us about, leave a message on our contact post!

Our next feedback post will be on April 9-10, whenever I manage to write it up.

Hello, everyone! This is Len - again, on Zange's account due to yet another poll - with several announcements. First of all, activity check is now closed and we will be keeping track of who got strikes and who passed the check.

Thank you all for your cooperation; it means a lot to us as a mod team.

Now, we'll be sharing our thoughts on the happenings of this week and how we personally feel about what's been happening:

Taskboard

This is actually becoming a lot more noticeable in the last two weeks, and we want to hear from you guys, in regards to tasks: I know you all enjoy them, but would you rather prefer to take down the 5 comment minimum and rather have at least two comments (top level included) from your character in regards to the taskboard? The reason for this being due to the fact that some threads seem to lag quite a bit due to timezone differences and the threads potentially be between three players.

While we heavily encourage tagging - especially for bonus AC! - we don't want characters to miss out on candy opportunities and end up as potential last place because of it.

It might have also been because it was a slow week for everyone in general, but this is definitely something we're thinking about possibly implementing if problems arise.

Investigations

We, as mods, actually spoke on the matter of investigations and we've decided together, for future investigations and plurks regarding the murder: no last minute changes to the case. I'm going to be transparent and admit that this is primarily for my sanity so I don't have to keep clarifying back and forth about things that were brought in last minute, or come up with solutions to problems that weren't there the day of the investigation. Clarifications on things that are already there to begin with are fine, however.

I also would like to apologize for the few mishaps personally on my part in regards to the investigation - there were some things in the murder document that I was reading that was rescinded in the final form of the case, and I admit that was sloppy on my part. It shouldn't happen again, as we will all do a double check of the murder document on Thursday, but I would like to put that out there publicly so that you are all aware.

Trials

Now, we were having a bit of a bumpy road in the trial, but we managed to get through it successfully and that much I'm actually rather pleased about. But if there's anything you had problems with in regards to the trial, whether it's about the timing of the trial or anything else, please let us know. We tried to make this case as simple as possible and admittedly a lot of it seemed to come down to circumstantial evidence -- although his alibi and obsession with the letter B were the big things in this case that we wanted you guys to get through, and you guys managed pretty well.

Now, the reason for the poll. There was a bit of a struggle in regards to the room searches being up so late in almost everyone else's timezones, since yesterday's room search was from 8-9 PM PST; which admittedly is early in my timezone, but not necessarily to others. Which is why I have a proposal in regards to shifting the room search times. We either do it at 6 PM PST/9 PM EST on the first day or we decide to have it be the first thing done at the trial on day two.

Hello there, everyone: as a reminder, activity check for the week is still live and there are seven people who still haven't responded. We will be sending out plurk PMs to these people today, as well. We have also sent out our plurk PMs to those who are needed to be involved in the upcoming trial for next week. Please make sure to check your plurk PMs!

Now onto the actual announcements, and feedback input.

Taskboard
As we mentioned in the last post, we are planning on revamping the taskboard post, and there are some things that we've decided on as a mod team: the first thing is an increase of tasks, specifically for the non-repeatable tasks. We are increasing the limit by two, so you'll have two extra tasks to work with each week. The second thing is an increase of candy, to make it more viable for characters to buy items. The third is that in the poll from the last post, it seems that majority voted yes for having a separate log for the tasks, meaning that starting tomorrow, we will have a task post separate from the regular mingle and see how that works. And the last but not least: we will be limiting the amount of tasks that can be taken per character, along with how many characters can sign up for a different task.

The taskboard will be updated shortly after this post, so please keep an eye out for that!

Trial and Investigation Times
Due to some discussion with our fellow players, we are changing the time of our trial and investigation posts to 11 AM PST/2 PM EST as a starting point! Our ending point for the Day 2 trial (Sundays) will be at 8 PM PST/11 PM EST as a compromise for the late starting time. Due to the late execution, however, Monday posts might actually be a little late than it has been the last couple of days - since we'll be doing our RNGs once a character is executed, and talking with our weekly victim/culprit.

Profiles
Nothing too major in regards of an update, but thanks to Dahlia-mun's suggestion, we've revamped the profile page to make it alphabetical by character name. If there any issues or minor corrections that anybody would like to make, please feel free to give us a heads up.

Activity Check
This is mostly an announcement in order to not blindside you guys - since some of you were blindsided by the activity check being thrown up on Friday. All activity checks from now on will be posted on Friday, after the investigation and will close on Sunday, after the execution. PMs will be sent out in advance on Sunday to assure people get their activity check in. In regards to strikes - if you fail AC two consecutive weeks in a row, you will be rolled for death. If you fail AC three different weeks - not consecutive - you will be rolled for death. And as a heads up, if you fear that you're not going to pass AC for a week because you're busy or have excruciating circumstances, please contact the mods.

That is all from us! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to utilize last week's open feedback post or if you would prefer in private, to message us on our contact post. Thank you very much.

Hello there, everybody! Len here, with several announcements. First of all, activity check is live for this week, so make sure you all fill that out. Not checking in with us or filling it out will result in a potential character death, so please do that as soon as you possibly can.

Now then, since week one is approaching, we would like to remind everyone that if you would like to volunteer for the first death to please let me know, either on the mod plurk or contact, or my personal plurk or Discord. We will be doing the rolls tomorrow (3/18), so please keep an eye out for any PMs sent out in regards to that. And remember to keep any roles - murder victim, murderer, suspect, etc - a secret!

Anyway, on with the actual announcements.

We would like some input from you guys as players on some of the things listed, so that we can improve as a game and be less disorganized.

The biggest thing here being tasks. We're thinking of revamping the way sign-ups work a little differently. Since many of the submissions include being undecided for who's doing each task, we were thinking of implementing more of a check-in system where characters only have to sign up for themselves, rather than everyone who is participating. It will also allow us, as mods, to keep a better track of who counts for the task completion and who doesn't. If those of you want a preview of what that's going to look like for the future, we'd for you guys to take a look at this post.

The other thing about tasks that I would like to bring up is a small little poll (hence why I'm on Zange's account for this announcement, not the mod account) for you guys.

Poll #18092 Task Board Posts

Would you all prefer to have a separate post for tasks?

Also, as a heads up: tasks for next week will have an increased candy rate in order to accommodate the items that are being sold in the store.

The second thing that I would like to address is investigation and trial times. Currently, we have been thinking of having the start and ends dates be 9 AM PST/noon EST and 7 PM PST/9 PM EST, but would anyone prefer a later start time or earlier/later end time? If we get a majority vote on it, we are willing to shift the timeslot over a little bit.

And last but not least, I will address the one thing that was brought up on the Discord chat here in full mod capacity: regarding killers and scapegoats. So, in most murdergames with the scapegoat option, when someone is scapegoated, the murderer is revealed in the end. After double checking with our fellow moderators once again, we've decided to keep our original stance on the mechanic and keep all murderers a secret in the case of a scapegoat. What this means for everyone is that, in the case of a scapegoat, characters may go after the following living characters, thinking that they are the murderer. We would like to ask that any attempts of doing this - especially if it comes to a kill - to please give us a heads up on that first. We will be taking these case by case, depending on what the culprit decides to do - for example, if they do decide to reveal themselves. But that will be something that I will, most likely, address again if and when it happens. We will definitely try our best, however, to make the trials solvable for everyone; they will not be impossible trials.

If there's anything you would like to discuss, please feel free to leave a comment; this is essentially an open forum post for any input everyone might have. And if there's any personal feedback that you would like to give to us in private, feel free to hit up our contact post!

Our next feedback post will be thrown up after the trial next Sunday - that's 3/26, as a heads up!
