crossingoutHey there everyone, this is Len here - as you all can obviously tell - and before we get to the crucial die day tomorrow (at 11 AM PST / 2 PM EST) I have some important announcements for you guys in regards to the future of the game as it is and some major changes that will be taking place.
Tasks
First of all: tasks. This is going to be the biggest major change. Me and my co-mods have have actually spoken a lot on this matter and due to how the system functions and how it adds more work on both players and mods alike, we've made the final decision to remove tasks, starting next week. This is mostly to put a load off of the shoulders of our NPC mod, Steve, who has been working really hard on the tasks for the last three weeks, and you guys, as players, too, considering the fast pacing of the game and how many posts you have to keep track of throughout the week. We'd like to thank Steve for the hard work he's been putting out as our NPC mod and all of you guys for handling the tasks throughout the last few weeks. We really appreciate every last one of you guys as we make the attempt to figure things out behind the scenes.
However, please do not fret! In place of the tasks, we will be pushing forward the plot - and yes, we actually have a plot thread tied to the removal of these tasks - and focus on the characters investigating the town more in their efforts to seek a way out.
We hope that the removal of these tasks does not interfere with your enjoyment of the game in the slightest bit.
Room Searches
Second on our list is room searches. Victim room searches will be conducted by the mods from here on out. We will be asking all victims to put forward their room search evidences beforehand so we can push them out in case they're unavailable for any reason and so that it doesn't slow down the investigation at any given moment.
However, for suspect room searches, those will be conducted at 6 PM PST/9 PM EST on the day one trial.
Anyway a few final reminders: activity check starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday! And on Monday, we will have our feedback post. As usual, if you wish to contact us feel free to leave a comment here in regards to our new announcements or get a hold of us in private via our contact post.
