We would like to welcome everyone officially to Magical Girl Raising Project! Here is where you guys can introduce yourselves - maybe with a little murdergame history if you have any - along with your characters and just tell us just how hyped you guys are for murder! We also have an official Discord channel here for those of you who are interested.

Feel free to also list your contact information and any other pertinent information as needed.

Also as an official announcement, just in case those of you were unaware, the first week, which will be listed as Week Zero will have absolutely no murder in order to build up that sweet, sweet, CR and make the murder a lot more upsetting in the end. We will be rolling for the murder victim and culprit on March 18, as a heads up unless we get any mysterious PMs in regards to volunteering for the first kill, which we wholeheartedly accept.

And as a reminder, please make sure that you do the following if you haven't yet:

• Add raisingproject as a friend, as that will be how PMs will be sent for murder-related plotting.

Hi there everybody!

I'm Steve, one of your mods, and I'll be playing Kaine Parker here from Marvel's Scarlet Spider comic. I'm not expecting anyone to be familiar with that, but if you are, you're a wonderful person and I love you for it.

So as a basic overview, Kaine's a clone of Spider-Man who's fairly grumpy and not into the whole superhero thing despite kind of being adopted by the city of Houston as a superhero? Here is a good example of his attempts to not attempt superheroics. I'm sure he'll make lots of friends (except probably not).

As far as history goes, this is it! It's my first murdergame, so I'm really looking forward to it, both in a mod capacity and as a player.

I'm Michelle, a veteran murdergamer (I've been in Trustfell rounds 2-4 as Aqua, Katniss Everdeen, and Oerba Dia Vanille) and I'm super happy to be here! I'm playing a little outside of my murderbox, so pardon my getting settled into this moron's voice. Anyway! I'm playing Renji Abarai from Bleach because Seto apped Szayelaporro and I'm weak.

For those of you who don't know much about Bleach, it's pretty much Shounen Central. Renji's a lieutenant in the Soul Society, meaning he's prettttty high-ranked and a formidable warrior. Shame about those kido skills, though... He's a moron, but god does he mean well. Uh, however, he's going to be very... aggressive. For a while. If anyone wants to fight him hmu and we'll have some weird CR. He'll be in room 11, and his magical boy name will be Monkey Business! Which he'll absolutely hate. Please make fun of him.

ANYWAY, I should note that I will likely not be around for investigations, as I work Friday mornings every week! Tagging occurs after like, 4pm PST, and I'll try to be around for trials so Renji can scream at people, but no guarantees! There will be attempts, though. Y'all can add me over at sweetstacks!

Hey fellow murder friends! My name is Michi, and I'm a murder game veteran with a long history of both mafia and dangan style murders; just coming off of working as a mod for Parasomnia and Trustfell most recently.

My contribution to this game are two very unique girls. The first is Seraphina from Disgaea 5. She's a demon-- a succubus, to be precise-- and the Overlord of the once most wealthy netherworld: Gorgeous. But her cowardly father put all their money into a fortress while she was out fighting the bad guys. Ugh!!! She acts every bit the spoiled rich girl bit, but there is a good heart in there. She has trouble expressing herself at times, but she also puts her allies first and supports them in her own way when they need it. She's deeply in love with Killa-- who rejects her at every turn. But she's stubbornly determined that she will win him over despite every failure. Her goal is to finish beating up the jerk who's been causing trouble all over the netherworlds, return to Gorgeous and rubuild it's wealth and then come back and win over Sir Killia. She's a busy woman who dreams big, okay. Oh yeah, and... well. She has this interesting philosophy born of her abilities that all men are bound to bow down to her and become her servants. But ultimately she calls all of her friends and allies "servants" even though it's not quite accurate. It's just another of her weird ways of showing affection...



The second is Edna from the Tales of series. Specifically, she's coming from near the end of Tales of Zestiria, before the final battle, where you have the option of a few side-quests.......... which include killing her brother. She's a small Seraph-- a being that is similar to a spirit, and has lived through ages where no humans could see them and ages where all humans could see them-- but she hates being treated like a child. She's full of sassy responses and loves teasing people and giving them nicknames, especially if they respond in a fun way. Thanks to her brother's travels, he was corrupted in a way that turned him into a dragon... something that there seems to be no cure for. Because of his state, before the game, she spent a lot of years isolated on a mountain, staying with him, even though he lost all sense of self. He means a lot to her but... on the way she learned a lot about the best and worst of humanity too and made some friends.

I'm Zero, and I guess this is my third murdergame now, jfc (I was in Parasomnia with Kevin Graham and Trustfell round 4 with Estellise) but I still feel like a newb. ANYWAY, this is Joshua Bright from The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. He's... basically a sweetheart with a shitstained past. And stole his girlfriend's first kiss and fed her a sedative through it so she wouldn't follow him. I wish I was kidding...

He has very little self-worth and he shows it in the way he holds himself and speaks. However, he's very intelligent and a giant weapons nerd. He's also insanely supportive as a comrade, or he attempts to be. I also apologize if he doesn't shut the fuck up about his girlfriend, Estelle. Just don't ever ask and there's a 50% chance he'll never tell.

Anyway, he's in Room #6 and will probably keep to himself because he's a goddamn loner like that. Someone make him be social.

Also, his magical name is Black Fang which he will lose his shit over. If you're canon familiar, you will know why. He's also going to transform into a magical girl because I want him to suffer.

Hello everyone, I'm Len, your head mod for this wonderful murdergame and I'm actually a murdergame vet - I played Himeko Inaba in DRRP R2 and Seven Vices, Rin Tohsaka in Alpha Complex, Rei Hazama in Shiptrap and various others - and I'll be bringing you guys today someone completely different. . .!

This is Zange from the series that nobody knows if it's on hiatus or got cancelled because the artist got sick called Kannagi! It's a pretty old slice of life series about a boy who somehow gets a girl from a carving of wood. It's fucking weird. (For those not in the know, it's done by the artist who did the manga version of Carnival Phantasm.)

Zange herself is a self-proclaimed goddess and an actual idol who prefers to be called Zange-chan and won't accept any other name. She also wears a nun's outfit pretty much all the time, don't judge...

She's also voiced by Kana Hanazawa in the anime, but I'm taking her from the original manga which only has some slight differences in regards to the adaptation. In any case, it's nice to meet everyone and if you all have any questions, feel free to hit me up on my plurk at endlessieght or my Discord (Len#0139) which are the two easiest ways to catch me. She'll also be in room #3, so any next door neighbors are free to hit her up.

Hello, everyone~! I'm Yamadori and I'm completely new to murdergames. (And DWRP in general, I guess? If six months is still considered new, I don't know.) But I am super hyped to be here and play with you all! I've made the questionable life decision of apping two characters, but I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone with them~

The first is Nanami Chiaki from Dangan Ronpa 3. Chosen by the illustrious Hope's Peak Academy for her talent as the Super High School Level Gamer, Nanami can be pretty socially inept at times. In spite of that, she's a very sweet and caring girl that enjoys playing games with her friends.

The Dangan Ronpa series is known for being all about murder, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), Nanami doesn't have any experience with that at all in the canon point that I'm taking her from. Unless you count video games, and those are vastly different from the real thing, so hopefully she'll be okay...

Anyway, while part of her really wants to get home, Nanami will also be pretty happy about making new friends here. She's in your care!



Lastly, my second character is Taiki Kudou from the Digimon Xros Wars manga! For anyone who might be familiar with his anime version, Taiki's manga counterpart isn't a completely different person, but the two have vastly different past experiences that shape the young man they become. And instead of being the instant genius he is in the anime with practically everything he touches, this Taiki's talents lie more in hard work and luck.

But for those who are not canon familiar, Taiki is an unfailingly optimistic boy who kind of ended up leading an army of fantastical digital creatures called Digimon. But even while there are times he has to be firm, more often than not Taiki is very kind and even gentle if the situation calls for it. More than anything else, Taiki is driven to help anyone who is in need, and the thing he can't abide by more than anything else is someone else being hurt for someone else's sake - or worse, if someone else gets hurts because of him.

Taiki will be excited to make friends despite the situation, though, and he'll work hard to protect everyone as best he can. Unfortunately I'm mostly blind to the anime, so I don't have any shiny GIFs of him to leave you with, but instead I grant you this cap from the manga.

Hey everybody, how's it going! I'm Des, whom you may have seen in murdergames such as Hunter's Game, Murder Manor, Craven Castle, Blank State, Dangan Roleplay Nick vs CN, or most recently Parasomnia which I happened to mod! And I am bringing to you...... the destructive disaster known as Beyond Birthday, from the Death Note spinoff novel Another Note.

He is an interesting blend of things from that universe, seeing as he is both one of the genius orphans from Wammy's House, and someone who was apparently born with the Shinigami Eyes. No definite explanation was given for why that happened, only that he figured out pretty quickly how to read human lifespans and thus for most of his life he has known when every person he ever met or saw in a picture would die. He also entered detective training at a very young age in order to become the successor to the world's greatest in the field, L.

E x c e p t. He became obsessed with surpassing L instead, stakes his entire self worth on that, and will stop at nothing in order to do so. That includes, but is not limited to, impersonating his appearance and mannerisms. He's a little messed up! Fortunately, this means that he will be introducing himself to people as "Rue Ryuzaki", so nobody actually has to call him his stupid real name.

On the other hand, he's canonically a huge fan of a certain anime/manga in the magical girl genre, so turning into one himself is going to be pretty amusing to him and he's probably going to get really into character there too. In fact this account exists because of all the fanart this artist who usually draws him did of him as a cutesy and possibly magical girl, and when I saw this game I knew what I had to. His magical girl name is Shinigami Jigoku, which the mods happened to specify is SJ for short. Clearly, he will be cracking some references to Shounen Jump very soon. He also lives in #14, which will probably irritate him because his favorite number is 13 - so close!

Hi all! I'm Seto, and I've participated in a few murdergames before (Fujimoto in Dangan Roleplay round 2, Colress in Trustfell round 2, and Rideaux in Trustfell round 3). With a set of characters like that, this guy probably doesn't come as a surprise haha.

I'll be playing Szayelaporro Granz from Bleach! It was one of the Big Shonen Series a while back, and apparently I thought now would be a perfect time to revisit it since what's a magical girl murdergame without...shonen characters... Right. Szayel fits into the concept surprisingly well though with his frilly appearance and even frillier magical form. He's a member of the Espada in Aizen's army, which is basically the Evil Version of Soul Society, and he's also their top researcher. While he's genuinely very intelligent and analytical, he's also extremely full of himself and a bit of a callous asshat. But don't worry he'll make that very evident once things get going...and if he doesn't make it evident then his castmate Renji will. They have a History.

Szayel's magical name is Octava (8th) to match his rank within the Espada, and he can be (equally fittingly) found in Room #8.

Miach is a 15 year old high school girl from a post-apocalyptic utopia/dystopia sci-fi world in which the highest duty of every citizen is to be healthy. Miach hates this. A lot. Her hobby is having books printed and gathering information about the era before the apocalypse and subsequent society rebuild. She's edgy and will quote random shit at you. Sorry.

For a fair warning, Miach is deeply interwoven with topics of self-harm, suicide and CSA. The latter is not likely to come up, but the first two tend to be mentioned by her. If you want me to avoid any or all of the three, please tell me here or on my permissions post.

Hello, hello, all! I'm excited to be engaging in a round of magical girl murder with all of you, even if I'm not particularly a MGRP person myself.

My name's Shay, and I'll be playing a character from the video game version of a magical girl killing spree: One from Drakengard 3. One's history is complicated, but it involves being magically sprouted off another woman's body and deposing a country's worth of tyrannical rulers in an attempt to liberate the people. Unfortunately, the story isn't really a happy one, and now she has to deal with hard truths about her own existence while the sister she hates hunts her down to murder her. She's serious and pragmatic but very petty and prideful. Here in town, her magical girl name is Uno (yikes), and she'll be in room #15.

This is my first murdergame, so to say that I am nervous would honestly be a huge understatement. I apologize in advance for my disasters, but I'm looking forward to seeing if this is something I can actually do.

Hey everyone! This is Nyanka, and I have never been in a murdergame before! I also work in the afternoons on the weekends, so please bear with me. Anyway, I thought this wonderful magical girl murder game could use some more scary people, so I'm bringing in this guy:



This is Zack, from the recently translated Horror RPG Angels of Death. This Jeff the Killer lookalike actually got himself into a bit of trouble when he ended up as a sacrifice in the building he was supposed to be killing in. Guess he shouldn't have attacked one of his coworkers, huh? Luckily, this one girl with a death wish was better at solving logic puzzles than he was, so they strike up a strange deal: The girl gets the two of them out of the death trap building, and Zack will kill her.

He's not going to kill on sight, thankfully. Only certain things will set him off. Also, he gets frustrated at things easily and will not be happy to find himself in this weird Magical Girl thing. He has a death wish to grant, for pete's sake!

For obvious reasons, you may run into a great deal of violence, possibly some mention of abuse, and plenty of explicit language. I'll be putting up a permissions post on Zack's account very soon, so keep an eye out!

His Magical Girl name is Reaper, which is a lot less annoying than turning into a girl that looks like this, and he'll be staying in room #16. Yes, I drew that reference myself. Follow me on plurk at nyanka!
